My interview with Michael Showalter, ep 1

So I took down the previous version and put this one up instead. It's still processing so give it a little while before clicking. I think it's more watchable. I might put the other one up again though. I don't know. I'm unpredictable. Trying to catch me is like trying to catch a wave upon the sand.

Hmm...3:05 of footage cut out is quite a lot. But hey, we live for the awkward Alison Rosen moments! I didn't catch the original clip so I missed out on what was edited out. I'm sorry, but I got lost and zoned out a little like half way into this clip as you two were slicing and dicing words and started talking about CSI and what not. What is this interview for anyway? Is it for magazine or something? I've heard of Michael Showalter before, but never knew who he was exactly. He kind of looks like Grant Wilson from Ghost Hunters with a five o'clock shadow.

I think Showalter looks/talks like Dustin with a 5 o'clock shadow and a wig. Except Dustin smiles on occasion.

As for interviewing someone that reflects you, you should do a self interview. Perhaps with a mirror, or wear two different outfits - one for asking and one for answering questions and then splice it together with your fancy software. That way it's all Alison all the time... what we really are looking for! ;) Maybe use porn music instead of the piano? Just for fun.

I missed the first edition also.

The piano is a good generic mood setter. It doesn't draw too much attention, and is mercifully brief, as opposed to some videos I've seen, where the opening clip/theme music every time starts to get annoying.

But I don't always know whether you're serious or not. Are you really looking for a theme song? If so, what style of music?

Your eye seemed a lot better in this video compared to the last one you uploaded :D

So, congrats on the improved eye thing!

You know, karpaydm may be on to something. You could interview yourself, yourself portraying another fictional character, or have yourself play a lot of made up characters? Kind of like, the [insert number here]-sides of Alison Rosen. This got me thinking as I was watching this video clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNVNbnz7rdw&feature=channel_page

These types of videos are notorious for going viral on the web. You can really have a lot of fun with that, too!
