As always, good stuff. When are you next on?

Alison's Blog: It's like A shot at Love, only we have no chance in hell. HA!! I hope that was as funny as it was in my head.

Anyhoo, since we're being narcisstic today, this would be the perfect opportunity to announce a personal milestone that will take place at midnight tonight. That's right, It's my b-day!! I want world peace, solve world hunger, uh wait, wrong format. Actually all I wish for is for the Cowboys to beat Green Bay tomorrow night. That's not askin' a whole lot is it? I look forward to next year's b-day because I will be 5 yrs old... in dog years of course....Hmmm, how slippery of me. My plans for this evening is to watch the BioChannel tonight. I expect good things.... That will be all for now. Good day!

Alison,

Why is it that women seem to love it when a guy surprises them with a birthday gift, but don't love it when a guy surprises them by jumping out of his hiding place?

Thanks for your insight.

Quote of the day:

"Are you interviewing Mccauley Culkin ? I'm asking you this because I still got unfinished business to take care of."

Hey Michael,

Happy birthday! I'm in the same ball park for age...Seems like just yesterday I was rocking to the hair bands of the 80s and now 40 is around the corner. Oh, you are funny by the way...I liked the Haley's Comet joke the other day.

I'm hoping Alison will post her segment from the Biography channel episode. I have like three hundred channels but not that one. Argh!

I'm no body language expert but I paused at my favorite part and it was 5:05 (or -2:02)---a sweet moment!
I was hoping your cut-off would be closer to 1500 miles.
;)
Funny and lovely, as always!

WOW!!! Alison, and Ted, you have no idea what that means to me. I appreciate the acknowledgement!! Thank you so much for the kind words.

This day has been a great day thus far, My mom took me shopping today and bought me a Tony Romo jersey, and a Cowboys skull cap. I'll be spending the day with her. I fired up the grill a few minutes ago. Im patiently waiting for the game tonight!! I've talked to friends today wishing me Happy B-day. So I'm really feeling good today.
I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys'R'US kid. Again, thank you guys so much for adding to a spectacular day!

As far as the biography channel, I do have it, but missed it last night. I plan on seeing it tomorrow, along with The Montel Show. I'm excited about that as well. Welp, off to cook. have a great day everybody.

P.S. Ted, glad to see you get your own personal message from Ali. Welcome to the club.

Michael, I saw that acknowledgment too. So I guess the whole Ted t-shirt thing isn't going to happen now. Darn!

I find this experience to be like parent training for Alison. See, she is learning to observe behavior, approve-disapprove, discipline and acknowledge and to be kind. So whenever she has a puppy or a child, we will have all played a small role in her success. I look at it as kind of a community service project in a way.

Alison, I read your 1 thing for today article and you included Chelsea Peretti in there...So cool! I have her on my MS friends (right next to you by the way, how ironic!). I love her clips called All My Exes.

Oh, I discovered that I'm worth $1.7 Million dollars from this website...funny with the cost of living here, I assumed it would be more. :(

I've been doing a little reflecting today, all positive of course, that's how I roll. Anyway, I'm usually not a cliche' kinda guy, but a couple of things came to mind. I have no idea where they came from. Honestly speaking, I didn't get this from something I've read or have seen. Not consciously anyway. So there's a chance it might have been said before. I just don't know. but here it is..... "Kind words cost you nothing, harmful, or upspoken words could cost you everything." Secondly, "Don't set yourself up, to be let down."..... Not sure where this came from. I just thought I'd share.

Oh, and about the Youtube thing you requested someone do. I wish I could help with that. Unfortunately, I'm an old school surfer, so I'm pretty much ignorant on how to do anything like that. I'm behind the times. I pretty much follow the K.I.S.S. rule.. Keep it simple stupid...Sorry Ali, hopefully someone else will be able to do that for you...

Michael, I read your post just before going out tonight and kinda converted what you said into Ted Terms... Basically I used an analogy that I understood better. So I acted a bit more like Sherman Klump and a bit less like Buddy Love.

Oh Alison, you really shined on this one. Your knowledge of the Hogan show was a shock and the attitude with Andy was captivating. I love the Cliff Notes version on your blog with the focus on Alison. You looked and sounded beautiful!
