I'm home

I'm home! And I was worried that I was going to feel weird in my Brooklyn apartment since I haven't really had all that much time to make it feel like home but I don't. I feel normal in it. So: hooray!

On the plane I watched a couple episodes of House. I never really got into that show, perhaps because I can't get past my disbelief that anyone's last name is really HOUSE, but it was pretty entertaining. Now I'm going to go not unpack.

Welcome home Alison! Good to have you back on this side of the country!

I once landed at La Guardia and had to take a cab to JFK - or maybe it was the other way around. Anyway, the cab ride was insane. It was early evening and there was a lot of traffic (although for all I know it could have been normal traffic). The driver was weaving in and out between cars and really hauling the mail. The drivers there are CRAZY.

Welcome home. I've heard or read somewhere that New York City is beautiful in October. Is this true? Is it also true that the weather sucks the rest of the time?

My family last name is Householder, so there's that. Congrats on your win tonight!
