The Comedians of Comedy tour is going to be trundling into Irving Plaza on Saturday, and I'd recommend you put down the—what is that you're holding? A copy of Mad Magazine?–and go check it out. An array of comedians will be dancing for the Man (that's bitter Gen X speak for "telling jokes and being funny") and you'd be silly to miss it. Names? Okay! Here they come: Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis Whose Name I Butchered in This Vlog, Maria Bamford and more! Go for the lightbulbs, stay for the chickens crossing the road. Then come back early for the dead babies and keep your fingers crossed for a Helen Keller or two. Come to think of it, if those are the kinds of jokes you're looking for, you'd be better off reading a tome that was as near and dear to my pubescent heart as Are You There God, It's Me Margaret?, and that was Truly Tasteless Jokes.
Oh and while you're looking for weekend fun to be had, what say you tune in to me on channel 4 at the God-delightful (see what I did there?) time of 6:15am? I'll be talking specifically about things to do in the city this weekend, so it's very topical. It's also very early. Normally I get to sleep in and luxuriate because my segment is on at the decadent time of 6:45am, but not tomorrow, and if I'm going to be suffering, then I expect you to as well. Suffer by watching me on TV. Or stay up late on Friday night and watch me on Red Eye at 3am. I'll be on with Crispin Glover, so that's neat, at least to my new-moms and tweaker demo.

Haven't seen Red Eye all week. I try to stay up but I just can't make it. I'll try to watch the show when I come home from doing a little debautchey. (probably didn't spell that right). Anyhoo, have a good show. perhaps I'll get a chance to watch. peace out.

Alison,
Are you trying to say that we would suffer while watching you on TV?
If so, can we sue you for pain and suffering?
