I'm still mad

So I'm at the hospital where my mom had surgery this morning. She's okay, just had a pesky gallbladder removed and a couple hernias repaired. I almost got in a fight with two evil women in the parking lot and I'm too tired to go into the details but I almost had to bust a psychotic dance move in their ass, which I so totally would have. I mean really, isn't a hospital parking lot a weird place to be a total bitch? I'm talking about them, not me. I was meek and docile but inside I was, um, not that way. Also, on the plane out I watched Growing Up Marsupial. Have you seen this? So cute! As for this hospital, it's good but it's no Seattle Grace. That's probably good actually.

Oh wow! I hope your mom is feeling better after her surgery! This was totally unexpected. My thoughts and prayers are with you and you mom and dad and sister. My father was in the hospital for about 7 weeks about this time last year (he's home and doing great now), and it was a terrible experience. The parking lot is full of rude people over here too!

In lieu of a get well card, this sentence is all about a speedy recovery for your mom.

This sentence is all about me saying WTF?

"but I almost had to bust a psychotic dance move in their ass"

I'm not sure how things are done where you grew up, but where I come from all the busting is done outside the ass.

I hope your mom recovers quickly, Alison. She's so sweet in your vlogs! Say HI to her for all of us and let her know we're thinking about her.

Why are there so many fights in parking lots? A woman I once worked with was at lunch one day and got cut off by a guy while driving out of the parking lot. He looked over at her and she raised up her arms like she was saying, "What the F***???"

The guy slammed his car into Park, got out, and started yelling and walking toward her. Susan quckly put up her window. Then the guy really began screaming and started pounding on her window. Susan was able to drive around the guy's car and get away. I talked to her after she got back and she was still shaking. There are a lot of maniacs out there.

Hope you're feeling better this morning, Miss R.

Wow! I hope your Mom has a swift and complete recovery. Having dealt with this with my Mom, I know it can be stressful, even for a "routine" matter.

And, if it helps, last time my Mom was in the hospital, I became known as the guy you don't want to piss off. Even the medical staff learned not to get between me and Mom's care.

Feel free to be as bitchy as you want, as long as you always have something good to say to Mom.

Wow hope everything is ok there Alison (For your Mom and the two ladies you had to work over) Let her know all your blogettes (is that kinda right) wish her well.

She might have been better coming to NJ for the work though. Saw this documentary on Fox yesterday about this great doctor down in Princeton. He's a little weird but he gets the job done.
