Ill-timed email from my former boss in CA

Only ill-timed considering the nostalgia problem:

"Damn, I miss you. CZ is good--in Austin at the moment. Evidence you're a great writer: doubt you're a great writer. You've always been--both doubtful and a great writer. Now come home and help us."

I love being helpful! Damnit!

(Mom and Dad, if you're reading this, don't get your hopes up. Perhaps I'll come visit though)

Wow. Timing, as they say is everything. Or is it? Coincidence that the older stories, which I've been enjoying very much as well as the music, have been popping up and this comes along. Is your old boss reading and hoping that nostalgia nudges you in that direction?
Been nostalgiac myself lately. I'm more of a present person usually though. Once in a while I like to reflect, but more often it's now and tomorrow. Things were easier then it seems. Eh what do I know? "I'm just a caveman, I fell in some ice...Your world frightens and confuses me."
