I have no attention span but if I did

My new coworker Rachel, with whom I was once on Red Eye a long time ago for those who pride themselves on remembering this stuff, told me about this site yesterday, and how she reads it all the time now.

Stuff White People Like:

#69 - Alison Rosen

#70 - Health Insurance

Being white, I can definitely agree with #69. But I think I've already made myself perfectly clear on #70. Health Insurance doesn't pay for ****! If you need more information, just look at my comment on the "Just got a call from my dad" topic.

Wow, my whole life I thought I was white. It's like "The Jerk" in reverse. I have got to talk to my family and fast. No Snoop or Dre on that Top 10 hip hop songs?

I posted that on my blog right just before you. Very funny stuff.

Ted, don't feel bad. As "Moe" you get to slap Michael and me around and give us those eye-pokes.

I agree health insurance is terrible these days. One of my friends has serious back and hip problems, and another has sleep apnea and wakes up dozens of times every night. He virtually sleep-walks all day long. Insurance won't help either one of them.

There's a conflict of interest when the insurance companies themselves decide what they'll cover. Doctors should decide what medical procedures are necessary.

I like the "White People" site. Some of the posts are funny. I know it's tongue-in-cheek, but there are 2 items I disagree with:

#56 "White people like lawyers" No, I don't think so. The approval ratings for lawyers is lower than the proverbial snake's belly in a wagon rut. Sure, sometimes you need them, but nobody really likes 'em. (Wow - I've always wanted to use the word "proverbial" in a sentence somewhere.)

#44 "Public Radio"
Public radio is very liberal, so really only liberal white people like it.

I know health insurance does suck! I think the best & most affordable HMO is probably Kaiser Permanente...at least in So. Cal. I have friends who praise the care and its dirt cheap!

Deal on the eye pokes Joe! I avoid politics on here but I totally agree with you on #44. If anyone disagrees with us then they are worse than Ann Coulter's 2008 voting choices!

I know Alison likes brain teasers but here is a tough question for her...

If the Facts of Life had ran for a tenth season, what did the producers plan for Blair to purchase? (No Cheating)

Eastland! They even made a pilot for a new series where Blair was going to be the headmaster. Seth Green was on it (I think he was cross-dressing, that was part of the plot, a la French farce. I may imagining that). And I think maybe Mayim Bialik was on it, but I'm not sure.

Correct! But they will get harder!
