I was looking through the stats and I'm proud to say that someone reached this site by searching the term "chicken raping."
And bonus points for anyone who knows what joke the title is a reference to. (Dad, you don't count.)

Not many chickens in the New York so I'd say it was one of your rural fans! Just guessing though!
Off to find the answer!
No bonus points for me today :o(
FYI - I just heard that Griff Jenkins is hosting Red Eye next week. You're probably wondering, "Why Griff Jenkins?" I have no idea. At least it's only for a week. Hopefully.

Trivia Question of the day THAT I WANT ALISON TO ANSWER:
"WHAT MONTH OF THE ELECTION YEAR DOES THE VICE PRESIDENT BECOME SELECTED ?"
--WINNER GETS FREE IPOD AND HANDSHAKE WITH STEVE JOBS (PLEASE DONT MIX THE WORDS "HANDSHAKE AND JOBS" TOGETHER)
I think I'm happy to report that I have no idea where that joke came from. The only thing that got triggered in my mind was seeing a horror movie, maybe a year ago, I forget the name, but it had a scene about "chicken raping." I think for this very reason I quit watching horror movies. This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase..."finger lickin' good." That's horrible. But hey, chickens need lovin' too. Ha!

P.S. Thanks Ted for the kind words.
Oh yeah, Happy M.L.K. day. They are supposed to be having rallies in Jena again today. I live in close proximity there. I only hope that it's peaceful. The opposing people do not represent how the majority of Louisianians feel. Heck, everyone still waves at each other while driving down the road. And most everyone exchanges pleasantries when out and about. But as always, there's always a few jerks here and there, no matter where you live.

P.S. Hello Alison's mom and dad, and sis. Your daughter/sister is not only talented, she is also good people. I know you're proud!
I have somewhat of a curveball of my own to throw. I know I have explained that I really like rap music, but I'm also an old school country fan. For example: Conway Twitty, (r.i.p.), Dwight Yoakum, that's plenty. Anyhoo, having said that, I don't necessarily enjoy the "new" country. There is one song that I have grown fond of. It's "Take me There," by Rascall Flatts. Whenever I know the countdown is on, I pretty much know where they are slotted and I stop to listen to it. It's not stuck in my head or anything. I just enjoy the vocals and the lyrics. You never would have guessed that huh?
