Waking up and playing with a dog

Is better than waking up and not playing with a dog.

Also, tomorrow morning at 11am I'm meeting the band for a quick rehearsal. It's very much like I never left, in a good way. I almost wish I'd brought my guitar with me. I brought my old strap, on the offchance that the guitar I'm borrowing has straplocks, but somehow I suspect it'll have a strap that's attached with duct tape an I'll put it on and it'll be hanging around my knees. That will impede the rock. Also impeding the rock? The high heels I'll be wearing--this is a wedding reception after all.

heh heh, commas. That would be a site to behold in my eyes to see you rockin' out at a wedding thingie. The song selection is going to be aaaamazing! I'm just thinking about loud here: I wonder if Tobey has learned any sort of tricks# I enjoyed the duct tape reference. It's like how we fix things down here in the duuurty. If it can't be fixed by duct tape, throw it away and get a new/used one.

This is amazing stuff. Getting the band back together. It's almost like The Blues Brothers, except they were guys. And you probably won't be driving a cop car.
Oh the rock can be impeded. I present as evidence Ashlee sp?) Simpson calling herself a rocker. Nah.
You on the other hand, the rock will indeed proceed. And if there's duct tape involved even moreso. Rock on Tiny Dancer. Have fun!

Wow - just thinking about S. California is making me jealous. It was 6 below zero here this morning, and [of course] we're going to get more snow over the weekend. The beginning of March is always the worst - winter is getting really old and you just don't want to deal with the snow and ice anymore.

Don't women usually kick off their heels at wedding receptions after a couple of drinks? Probably depends on how formal it is.

Pictures... we want pictures! :o)

Also jealous. Going to California in May. At least you won't be between the Eagle Rock and the hard place.

I'd also like to share something. I can't remember what weekend it was, maybe last. I was able to catch an episode of Red Eye. I saw where Andy is a big Nascar guy. I thought that was the neatest thing. Although I'm not as passionate as Andy about it, I also pull for Tony Stewart. I won't claim that I watch the races, but I do keep up with the pts. and who wins every weekend. People in my neck of the woods love Nascar. It's part of the culture down here. Most of the people I come in contact with are big Dale Jr. fans. I think because they loved watching his father race. I have alot of friends that go to Talladega every year and go to the infield. They say it's just like Mardi Gras down there. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but oh well. Anyway, my over-all thought here is I think it's fascinating to see people that are cultured.
