The answer is D

a) I don't like to wake up on a zero or a five so I set my alarm for weird numbers--TRUE! (I'm weird! However if I HAD to wake up on a zero or five I wouldn't have a problem with it, hence my telling myself this is just a delightful quirk and not fullblown neurosis)

b) I wrote the first cover story of No Doubt to run in a national magazine--TRUE. It was in the now defunct Axcess magazine which was a national glossy magazine out of San Diego. I also did covers on Sandra Bullock, Milla Jovovich and... I swear there was someone else but now I'm forgetting. And here is a bit of trivia: apparently the cover picture of that story inspired the video for "Don't Speak" because Gwen was made huge on the cover and the guys were shrunk and stuck in the background. There are some pictures of the story here, though you can't read it, just see the images. The cover is that little thing on the left!)

c) In college, I lived in the dorm that was the exterior of Eastland from Facts of Life—TRUE! (the show was shot on a soundstage but Harwood dorm at Pomona was the exterior of Facts of Life when you see it in the credits. I didn't even realize this until after I'd been going there for about a year!)

d) I hosted a radio show after college—FALSE! (I've done radio but never had my own show)

e) My hair is naturally curly—TRUE! (you can kind of see it in this old and somewhat embarrassing band article. Note how goth I look. I am not now nor have I ever been goth, I just seem that way sometimes because of the dark hair, light skin and pet raven)

Thanks to everyone for guessing!

OMG, I missed it again! Ahhhhhhhh!

Loved the band photo...If this was the 60s, I'd say you were one groovy chick! Screw it...I'll say it anyway ...your one groovy chick Alison!

I'm like so curious to hear what the band sounded like! Hopefully there is an MP3 floating around!

I just bought a block of tickets for the Stevie Nicks concert coming up! I'll leave one for you at the door! :)

My "Four Truths and a Lie" only has six replies. While your has 18. Your at least three times more important than me! *lol* But seriously, I can't wait for more of these games.

By the way, New Hampshire still isn't off the hook for canceling Red Eye!

I was only teasing with the goth comments by the way! However, what is your raven's name?

When I was reading the article, it was totally throwing me off with the Alison Angora name...I was like WTF? Did she change her name or what's the deal. I'm guessing that was just a band thing. You sounded like really freakin knowledgeable on music with your responses. I feel kind of lame now for bringing up my Guitar Hero 3 accomplishments. Go Ted go...green button, red button, way to work the yellow buttons!

:(

Here are 4 truths and a lie about myself:

A. I typically run 8 miles a week

B. I only work because its fun not because I have to.

C. I started on my PhD and quite.

D. Ted from Accounting is my real name & occupation

E. I type 50 WPM but I'm only certified at 35 WPM

The winners get a lifetime supply of chocolate and I'll throw in an everalasting gobstopper.

Alison,
Is the band name still available?
I hate people who steel someone else's ideas... but that's a great name for a "Chick Band".

Just for the heck of it, I'm going to say "D". I may die laughing if I'm actually right.

My second choice was the right answer both times. That was fun!

I see you're scheduled on Red Eye tomorrow, Alison. No primaries that day thank goodness!

Last night's show was hilarious. OMG, I was splitting a gut over Janice Dickenson. They HAVE to have her back on.

Michael, other than Alison I guess my favorite Red Eye regulars are Anna Gilligan, Suzanne Sena (she hasn't been on for a while), Rebecca Gomez, Ainsley Earhardt, Patti Anne Brown. Amanda Carpenter and Mary Katherine Ham are good too. Julie Banderas was good on the show last night. Michael Baden is always interesting. Mike Baker is good. There are others I can't immediately think of.

Who are your favorites Michael?

I'm gonna have to agree with my fellow blogger Chris B. on this. It's like a half glass full/empty sort of thingie. In this situation, it's half full. Plus, the journey was so exciting. There are no losers here, because like Chris said, we know a little bit more about you. Can't wait for the next go around.

Ted, I'll go with C. Just an educated guess.

Also, just to settle this whole political landscape crap. Note* I hate talking politics. Just everyone, VOTE FOR PEDRO!!

Oh goodie!!, I just noticed that you're gonna be on Red Eye Fri. night. At least there's a little balance in the universe. For instance, it would have been great to see you Tues. night, but if that had happened, you wouldn't be on this Fri. I have a life coach that keeps me positive.........That's not true at all.

Oh yeah, I wanted to make a brief comment about last night's Real World. I held up the whole time, but when Parisa was handing out her gifts, I lost it. It wasn't like it was an uncontrolled caniption, (probably didn't spell that right.) It was more like that old commercial where that Indian had a tear stream down his face after someone littered.

Hmmm, good question Joe. I have to be completely honest with you on this one. Since I live in La., the show doesn't air here until 2:00 a.m., so although I would like to watch every night, I can't, because I just can't stay up that late. Having said all that, Ali is my one and only fav. And even then, I have to set my alarm clock to be able to see it. (I hope I get brownie pts. for saying that. Not the kind with the nuts though. Nothing worse than having to remove nuts from in between your teeth.) But, just cause I don't watch as often as I like, I still read the Greg-a-logues everyday, and read the comments posted over there.

Damn that hurt Michael...just kidding bro, you crack me the F*** up. In December's Happiness Project blog she wrote on Twelve tips to avoid seeming like an arrogant, know-it-all jerk. I like these two:

#7 Laugh at yourself. Few things are as winning as people who are willing to poke fun at their own foibles. This doesn’t mean saying, “I’m so clueless” and waiting for everyone to cry, “Oh, no, you’re great!” It means honestly laughing at your idiosyncrasies and mistakes.

#9. Teasing. One way of showing fellow feeling is teasing people – gently. People liked to be joshed, but not about anything sensitive.

I realized that I should have made mine a bit more creative and less of a singles ad but the correct answer (or non-truth) was D. As a competitive on-line video game player, I experimented with several screen names to use. Ted from Accounting brings out the funniest reactions from gamers. Mostly negative reactions! My actual name is Cecil Eugene Bigglesworth...no that isn't it either! Let me digress...I would love to see Alison write an article about blogging or her experience blogging. That would be really interesting...maybe we could even make an appearance in the article...Use a psuedo-name for me like Fred from the Boiler Room to protect the anonymity of my other pseudo name please! It really would make a funny article Alison!

Later Peeps!
