Thanks for the interview Alison, I really appreciate that. I love Bob Saget . I remember him very well in that show called Full House.Without him, I believe the Olsen Twins wouldn't be as famous as they are today. But I can't tell why it is that we feel uneasy when we watch the intro of the show giving the view of San Francisco and then reading Bob's surname "Saget" when it pops up in the credit opener. Perhaps maybe it's "Everywhere you Look"!!!
Consider me disembarking the tinterhooks. It's good to have you back. Anyway, good interview with Saget. I've always been a fan of his. He's got alot of diversity, which makes things interesting. Wasn't he also apart of an animated penquin movie? My short term memory fails me. They still show Full House on A.B.C. family. Who would have thought the middle daughter would turn into a little speed freak. Just goes to show, we all have our vices. Mine is having tea at high noon. I hope your on Red Eye in the future. Always suspenseful.
Great interview Alison. Another bang-up job. Saget has always been a favorite of mine. Not afraid to poke fun at himself which I always enjoy in someone's humor. The only penguin movie I'm aware of of with Saget, was Farce of The Penguins. He wrote, produced, directed and did voices in it. It was spectacularly filthy. And a hilarious send-up of March of The Penguins. It was stock footage of penguins with a bunch of comedians doing voices. Definitely worth a look, I think. If like me, you like that kind of stuff.
Ah yes, The Farce of the Penguins. I haven't been able to get that out of my head. Thanks for the reminder Jesse. Anyway, I hope you're scheduled for Red Eye again soon Alison. I'd like to see where this is headed. Well, have a great weekend! I know I will.
I am a vivacious person with effervescent thoughts and bubbly feelings, which I used to save for my diary and therapist before realizing I could share them with a million strangers, unless of course we've met before in which case remember that time we were at that place and then I did that thing? Sorry about that... Also I'm a writer, pop culture analyst/expert and regular TV guest. Care to be impressed by my credentials? Well then, from 2005—2008 I did Best Bets with Alison Rosen, a segment on WNBC's Weekend Today in New York show. I've appeared on Montel, Chelsea Lately, Hannity & Colmes, Fox & Friends and a bunch more and I'm a regular commentator on Fox News Channel's Red Eye. I wrote for the Los Angeles Times when I was 18. I'm a former Time Out New York editor. I'm a contributing editor for Page Six Magazine. I've written for a zillion publications including Rolling Stone, Maxim, Spin, People, Village Voice, New York Press, Nerve, Seventeen, Vibe, Seattle Weekly, Minneapolis City Pages, OC Weekly and Page Six Magazine. I used to play guitar in a punk band. I have naturally black hair. I won NY's Funniest Reporter competition.
